TONY CONLAN
Tony came to Queensland in 1995 after accepting a job offer as Agency Manager for one of Queensland’s largest Entertainment Agencies. He booked tours for most major acts in Australia through Queensland and the Northern Territory, as well as several highly publicized tours to many Asian destinations. He managed a roster of over 2000 acts and became the local entertainment consultant for venues such as Twin Towns, Seagulls and Fisherman’s Whalf.
In 1994 he began to work as a consultant with Aplomb Promotions, booking pubs and clubs and also aided in the development of two new high profile tribute shows “The Vegas Legends Show” and “The Mick Jagger Tina Turner Experience” he also helped create a Cabaret touring circuit in Queensland, which has been immensely successful in promoting many high profile shows on a local and national level.
Tony has since spread his wings to take in tours to other Australian states as well several tours of New Zealand and the highly successful Asian market
KERRY JAMES
Agency Manager
Kerry began performing in Australia in her early teens and moved base to London throughout the 80’s and 90’s, where she worked consistently throughout Britain and all across Europe.
Her effusive personality and powerful stage presence has allowed her to move in a great many musical areas with ease and confidence. Kerry has also worked as a featured performer for a number of leading cruise companies such as P&O (Oriana, Canberra), CTC and Louis where she undertook a stint cruising Greece, Cyprus and the Mediterranean, as well as performing Kerry also used her skills to become an accomplished compere, promotions and games show host which has only added to her many talents.
This versatility has also seen her work as backing vocalist for American and British Artists as well as working alongside some of the biggest names in show business.
As well as her solo show Kerry James and Friends she is also currently working as part of the fabulously successful “Vegas Legends Show” which pays tribute to the stars that made Las Vegas what it is today as well as the internationally acclaimed Mick Jagger & Tina Turner Experience, both of these shows have had major success in both Australia and abroad.
At Aplomb Kerry looks after the accounts side of the business making sure that acts and venues alike receive prompt payment and personal attention, as well as assisting venues with the booking of solo, duo, trios and any private function requirement bookings that they may need
DANIEL GOLD
Entertainment Manager
Daniel has a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of the entertainment industry; beginning his career as a well-respected compere he soon began to master the art of impersonation and vocal mimicry. Daniel's talents gave him the opportunity to appear in several television commercials throughout Queensland, New South Wales, Northern Territory and South Australia and has also been interviewed for such programs as A Current Affair and Today Tonight.
Daniel brings an artistic flair to the organization taking care of all artwork, promotional and graphic material that is needed at Aplomb to promote many of the acts represented. He also deals with many aspects of the agency including servicing the needs of Aplomb’s valued Corporate Event clients.
Daniel is also one of the headline performers in the popular comedy tribute show “The Vegas Legends Show”, which has had success both in Australia and abroad as well hosting the hugely successful “Brain Drain Trivia Show” throughout several Queensland venues and more recently co compereing a new interactive games show nationally called “So You Think You Have Talent”.
